Whilst our studio at Waterlooville Leisure Centre remains closed, we have moved just up the road to a larger hall
Waterlooville Leisure Centre have very recently informed us that the re-opening plans for Studio 2 has been set back. We have had the following message from Horizon in regards to hall hire there:
“The studio is not currently available to hire as currently the ventilation requires upgrading to meet the new guidelines. At present we are unable to advise when the studio will become available as we try to prioritise all the expenditure requirements that we currently face. Regrettably, Studio 1 or the temporary Studio 3 are not available to be used for bookings due to them being required for the centres own use”.
We will now be running classes from Waterlooville Community Centre in the large Kings Hall. The venue shares the Waterlooville Asda Car Park and has a drop off point right by the main entrance. The full address is: Waterlooville Community Centre, 10 Maurepas Way, Waterlooville, Hampshire, PO7 7AY.
There are multiple halls within this venue which are in use by other community groups. Please do not enter the venue too early and arrive prompt to reduce the time waiting in the corridors. Masks are compulsory for all adults entering the building. Wearing a mask is not compulsory for students, they may wear one whilst waiting in the corridors at your discretion.
Whilst we are looking forward to returning to Waterlooville Leisure Centre once Studio 2 re-opens, we are also pleased that in the short term the alternative venues have a lot smaller footfall and mixture with the public. Always a silver lining somewhere!
