Principal: Katrina Excell ISTD, Diploma in Performing Arts

Katrina first started training at the age of 4 where she first found her love for dance; at the age of 16 Katrina had danced with the English National Ballet; by the time she was 18 she was competing at the All England dance finals and was studying A level dance and GNVQ diploma in performing arts. At the age of 23 Katrina had taken her teaching exams and training and performing  in London and the West End whilst teaching at Southwick part time. In September 2004 Katrina formed Southern Arts Academy and has since been a dancer on ITV “Everybody dance now” and Sky One  ”Just dance” . In 2010 she decided to take more teaching exams in Tap and Modern and currently choreographing and directing her own shows.
