Paige Yates

Teacher - ISTD DDI/DDE

Miss Paige joined us in May 2021 to teach competition dances and is now taking on our adult classes

Paige has been dancing since the age of 2 and has performed and competed both nationally and internationally. This includes accolades such as dancing in London’s West End in The Secret Garden, Disneyland, the Dance World Cup (Australian Team) and winning a dance scholarship for a large dance academy in New Zealand. The London Children’s Ballet, The English Youth Ballet (three seasons), All England Dance and Tap Attack are all groups she has been successful in and have taught her to appreciate the developing and emerging culture of Musical Theatre and Dance in all its forms.

She has also worked locally with the Groundlings Theatre in Portsmouth and been cast in many shows and pantomimes across the South of England, such as Oliver at The Kings’ Theatre in partner with The Portsmouth Players. Paige was teaching assistant for over 4 years at dance schools in Portsmouth, before teaching her own classes in Waterlooville.

Paige has recently trained for a Dance Diploma (UAL Level 3) and has gone on to study for her ISTD DDE qualifications. Alongside her dance teaching studies she is training to become a primary school teacher. During her free time Paige has completed a temporary role at a hairdressers and a nail beauty course to gain extra credits for university.
