Ali Lipscombe
Teacher - ISTD DDI/DDE
Miss Ali has been teaching at SAA since 2008 and has recently updated her qualifications in DDI/DDE Ballet
Ali first started dancing at the age of 3 at Victoria School of Dance, where she went on to compete in festivals, All Englands and local shows. She furthered her dance education at the prestigious Bush Davies Ballet School and The London Studio Centre where she studied for her Diploma in Dance.
She joined SAA in 2008 and has recently updated her teaching qualifications in ISTD DDI/DDE Ballet. This builds on her existing portfolio of her PTTLS Diploma (Preparing To Teach in the Lifelong Sector), IQA (Internal Quality Insurer), Safe Guarding Office, Assessor and First Aider.
Ali loves teaching Ballet and Lyrical and has been behind lots of the choreography for our annual shows, as well as West End and competition squad dances that have competed internationally.
Alongside SAA she manages the Masterclass Academy for Hair OTT, educating future hairdressers… so the teaching never stops for Ali!
